Typhonix has been awarded the contract for a Low Shear Pumping system to Equinor’s Breidablikk project. Typhonix Low Shear Pumps reduce the environmental impact. The field proven low shear pumps are robust and efficient centrifugal pumps, increasing the produced water treatment efficiency through reduced oil droplet breakup.
Breidablikk is a large oil discovery on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS) located north-east of the Grane field in the North Sea (www.equinor.com). Breidablikk will be developed as a subsea field with a tie-back to the Grane platform. The partners are: Equinor Energy AS (operator), Petoro AS, Vår Energi A/S and ConocoPhillips Skandinavia AS.
Typhonix Low Shear Pumps has been developed together with the Research Council of Norway and leading oil companies: Equinor, ConocoPhillips, Vår Energi and Neptune Energy. The pumping system will be delivered in collaboration with our partners: AB GF Swedenborg Ingeniörsfirma and Dickow Pumpen GmbH & Co. KG.
