Typhonix’ low shear pumps combine the robustness of the centrifugal pump design with the low shear capabilities of positive displacement pumps. As always, the efficiency of the produced water treatment equipment is highly dependent on the dispersed oil droplet size. Tests performed with the actual pump and field specific process and fluid conditions showed excellent low shear performance. Operator is very pleased with the performance of the pump and is investigating other pump applications.
