At Poster Session Day 2, Rune Husveg will be presenting “The Development of a Low Shear Valve Suitable for Polymer Flooding” in the Poster Area.

The work reviews the development of a low shear valve that targets polymer-water flow applications connected to enhanced oil recovery operations and shows that mechanical degradation can be dramatically reduced compared to conventional valves. The developed valve reduces degradation with more than 50 % compared to the standard valve that was tested in parallel.
